It’s been a bit over a year since I first tried to make
marshmallows but last weekend I thought it was time I tried again.
I am glad I did.
For this attempt I followed this recipe and I must say they
turned out rather well (though a little lacking in flavor).
I scooped some of the mixture into some egg shaped flour molds
(as per this recipe) and made a slab with the rest which I cut stars and hearts
out of.
I just ripped up the edge pieces into bite size bits.
All the shaped marshmallows got a chocolate coating (some
milk some dark).
Overall a success.
I won’t be waiting another year to make my next batch that’s
for sure.
